On the road again

Well as you will have seen I wrote nothing yesterday as did Gill, however I am sure that Sharryn’s note will suffice for all of us!!

We have had a few fantastic days with time with Stephen, Eline and Ethel on Monday finished off by a fantastic evening out some good wine and even better company.

Today has been spent mostly in the car with me driving and the rest supervising between sleep, god know what makes the sleepers think that they can have any influence at all on the person driving but believe me they think that they do!!

So where did we go, well we started off from the apartment at Koksyde to head towards Holland Amsterdam however like most trips nothing is a direct route, so first we went to Dunkirk then onto a couple of other places before finally arriving in Amsterdam at about 5pm about 500 k’s to complete a normally 350k drive never mind who’s complaining not me of course as there would be no-one listening!!

This evening we walked from our lodgings to a small local pub and had a fantastic dinner then an early -ish night before setting off to walk for millions of miles tomorrow so until then TTFN
